Agave Blooming On The High Mesa

This is an art photo with texture of a wild agave on the high mesa east of Camp Verde Arizona.  It is one of my favorite subjects in June and July when it blooms and makes its seeds and dies. Every year is different and after a few years of extra rain it is a sometime and onetime spectacular show.
