I wanted to go and explore the Great Plains of eastern Colorado. So I headed east from the Denver area and found this old wood house some were out on highway 36. Way out. I made it all the way to Kansas. I also forgot what mountains were and had to be retrained that night when I returned to Denver. Old house like this one really stimulates my imagination I can see the family the hard work, the dreams the chickens and cows and pigs and gardens even if there was never any of that there.
